  • About the Role

     

    Royds Withy King are a UK Top 100 law firm with offices in Bath, London, Oxford and Swindon and due to continued success and growth we are are looking for an additional Finance Assistant to join the finance team based in Bath.

     

    This role will provide essential support to the business through managing client accounts, processing payments and chasing debt. The Finance Team is a close knit team who work closely together to provide excellent service to the business.

     

    Responsibilities of the Role

    • Process cheques accurately and on time
    • Process supplier invoices for payment
    • Daily banking
    • Bank reconciliations
    • Dealing with external and internal queries relating to finance and payments
    • Maintaining the finance and accounts system
    • Processing internal expense requests through BACs
    • Monitoring firm bank accounts for daily transactions

     

    About You

     

     

    Skills & Experience:

    • Strong experience gained in a similar role within a professional services environment
    • Educated to A Level standard or equivalent, financial qualifications are highly desirable
    • Client focused with an appreciation of both internal and external client needs at all times
    • Exceptional levels of attention to detail and accuracy
    • Well organised with the ability to work to regular deadlines
    • Demonstrates a positive and efficient image with a friendly and approachable persona
    • Ability to work with tact, discretion and confidentiality
