  • About the Role

    We have an exciting opportunity to join our growing Risk and Best Practice Team based in our Bath office initially for 12 months.


    This role will complement the Risk and Best Practice Team by providing guidance to the firm on risk and best practice policies and procedures (60%); and will provide support on current risk and compliance/business services projects (40%).


    Key Responsibilities:

    • To provide first tier advice and guidance to the firm on compliance policies and procedures, particularly those relating to Anti-Money Laundering, File Opening and Data Protection, including managing the firm’s risk ticketing system;
    • To provide support on risk and compliance/business services projects as required, including managing project plan updates in Microsoft office, attending meetings and keeping meeting notes, drafting/considering amendments to firm policy and procedures;
    • Performing basic web-based research e.g. finding SRA or ICO guidance;
    • Assist with managing, update and maintaining the Risk and Best Practice intranet pages
    • Supporting team with typing and other administrative duties and projects as required
    • To carry out any other duty as requested by the Risk and Best Practice Advisor or Head of Risk and Best Practice.

    About You


    Skills & Experience:

    • Previous experience of working in Risk and/or Compliance, preferably in an AML advisory role is essential
    • Previous experience within legal or financial services is essential
    • Previous experience within an administrative role is essential
    • Excellent organisation skills with the ability to prioritise effectively

    The successful applicant will be subject to pre-employment screening including a DBS (Criminal Background) check.
