Royds Withy King is about to embark on an extensive IT programme of works to upgrade the application and platform architecture that will support its on-going growth and development. We are seeking an IT Applications & Development Manager to play a pivotal role in delivering this programme as well as overseeing a team of 4 Developers.
Reporting to the Director of IT, the IT Applications & Development Manager is a key part of the IT Management team and is responsible for the leading the development and maintenance of the Royds Withy King’s application, systems, integrations and data solutions in line with business and client requirements.
You will act as the subject matter expert for the IT Applications and Development function, overseeing and leading a team of 4 IT Applications Developers and providing advice and direction to all levels of personnel within the firm. You will primarily focus on two core areas:
• Strategy, Governance and Process: the ownership, implementation and development of robust and applicable development standards, change and demand management processes and technical architecture roadmap.
• Technical Management: the implementation of upgrades and new systems; and the maintenance, troubleshooting, documentation, automation and improvement of existing systems.
