  • About the Role

    Working as a key member of the HR team, you will deliver an exceptional talent acquistion service to the business. This position will focus on recruiting Legal Support roles and Business Services positions across our offices, working closely with hiring managers to ensure roles are proactively filled.


    You will be a champion for an outstanding candidate experience and in conjunction with the Recruitment Manager develop, enhance and promote the Royds Withy King Employer brand. Duties will include:


    • End to end management of between 15 and 20 vacancies across multiple locations. Working to reduce time to hire and ensure quality of candidates.
    • Provide business partnering to hiring managers helping them to understand their resourcing requirements, providing advice and expertise related to the candidate and recruitment market, as well as understanding key business requirements and challenges
    • Act as a super user for the Applicant Tracking System (iCIMS) ensuring candidate management is efficient and effective. Inputting into process improvements and fully optimising the system capability
    • Manage a small preferred supplier list of recruitment agencies, including coordinating the annual PSL review and ensuring agencies agree to RWK terms of business reviewing agency performance.
    • Proactively manage talent pools for critical and common roles through iCIMS and use of LinkedIn Recruiter. There will be a target for driving proactive hiring through these channels
    • Provide regular management reporting information for the Recruitment Manager, Director of HR and the senior leadership team on recruitment activity
    • Working closely with the HR Assistant, oversee the pre-screening process for new hires ensuring suitable due diligence and an efficient process
    • Develop and own RWK’s apprenticeship recruitment strategy including managing school and college relationships, developing a strong route to market and an effective assessment process
    • Manage and coordinate the annual vacation scheme programme for RWK- hiring 12 Interns each year.
    • Take ownership for the @RWK_Careers Twitter feed, posting and sharing relevant content in line with our EVP and wider brand initiatives
    • Support the Recruitment Manager in the development of our digital platforms such as LinkedIn & Glassdoor as well as inputting into content for the Careers website
    • Undertake recruitment administration as required including coordination of interviews

    About You


    • Previous experience in a recruitment-focused role- Essential
    • Experience of working in an in-house or RPO recruitment function- Desirable
    • Experience of recruiting in the legal or professional services industries- Desirable
    • Excellent proactive direct sourcing skills- Essential
    • Previous experience of using LinkedIn Recruiter- Desirable
    • Experience and understanding of the use of digital and social media platforms in
      recruitment- Desirable


    • Passionate about delivering an excellent candidate experience with the ability to
      manage candidate communications effectively- Essential
    • Technology savvy with experience of using an ATS or Candidate Management
      system- Essential
    • Commercial acumen with the ability to understand business drivers and challenges
      and how recruitment fits into the bigger picture- Essential
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will be confident
      communicating with candidates from all walks of life.- Essential
    • Ability to influence at a senior level, utilising your expertise to help shape
      recruitment decisions- Essential
    • An experienced interviewer with the ability to support and coach hiring managers to
      run effective interviews- Essential
    • You will have a good grasp of data and be able to produce accurate and meaningful
      reports- Desirable


    • Educated to degree level or equivalent- Essential
    • CIPD/ Recruitment qualification is desirable but not essential
    • Good knowledge of GDPR and its application to the Recruitment process- Essential
    • SHL Level 1 (Aptitude)- Desirable
    • Sound knowledge of Employment law and best practice- Essential
