  • About the Role

    This is a part-time role working Monday – Friday 10am-2.30pm

     

    This is a great opportunity for an Accounts Assistant seeking part-time hours to provide assistance in financial related matters. In the role you will ensure the firm complies with Solicitor Accounts Rules.

     

    Key responsibilities

    • Process cheques accurately and on time in response to payment requests from internal clients
    • Process supplier invoices for payment
    • Processing and checking of external bills for payment
    • Daily banking
    • Dealing with enquiries from internal clients
    • Maintain archive files on the accounts system
    • Bank reconciliations
    • Credit/Debit card payments from clients
    • Dealing with external clients financial queries
    • Supporting finance supervisor in relation to audits
    • Updating breach register for COFA
    • Supporting credit control
    • Processing all internal expense requests forms by BACS/Cheque.
    • Monitoring firms bank accounts for daily transactions of receipts/payments
    • Ensure all financial procedures comply with Solicitors Accounts Rules
    • Any other duties as reasonably requested by the Finance Partner

     

    About You

    Skills & Experience: 

    • Previous experience within in a similar role, ideally within professional services
    • Educated to A-level standard
    • Working towards AAT qualification or similar is desirable
    • Exception attention to detail
    • Excellent organisational skills with ability to manage a busy workload
    • Focused on delivering excellent client service
