About the Role

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Risk & Best Practice Administrator to join our growing Risk & Best Practice team based in Bath. In this role you will be instrumental in administering key elements of the Firm's Compliance Framework and Compliance plan. Responsibilities will include:


  • Developing an understanding in order to create, maintain and report on all risk and compliance registers including gifts and hospitality, complaints and claims, supplier contracts, high risk clients; and matters, NCA reports, breaches and training.
  • Completing legal aid tenders and applications
  • Supporting in the annual SRA Renewals - assisting HR with data collection
  • Manage data and create monthly reports
  • Diary management, scheduling and minuting all compliance-related meetings
  • Administrative assistance
  • Monitoring SRA/Law Society for updates
  • Performing basic research
  • Preparation, publishing and distributing training materials
  • Any other duties as requested by the Risk & Best Practice Advisor or Head of Risk & Best Practice 

About You

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in an administrative role is essential
  • Previous experience within a legal environment is desirable
  • Secretarial or administrative qualifications preferred
  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs, A-C including English and Maths
  • Excellent organisational skills with ability to manage a busy workload
  • Focused on delivering excellent client service
