About the Role


We are currently looking for a Part-time Credit Controller to join the team working 25 hours a week to help ensure the smooth running of the credit control process. You will work closely with internal clients on financial matters and help to improve the cash flow position of Royds Withy King by ensuring payments are made.


Our Finance team provides essential support to the business through managing client accounts, processing payments and chasing debt. They are a close knit team who work closely together to provide an excellent level of service to the business.


Responsibilities of the Role

  • Regular contact with external clients to chase payments via email, letter and telephone
  • Liaise with fee earners to ensure information on client files is correct and accurate
  • Monthly reporting on the debt position of each department within the firm
  • Produce statements of accounts to external clients and respond to any requests
  • Issue proceedings against clients to recover invoices


About You



Skills & Experience:

  • Strong experience gained in a similar role within a professional services environment with an excellent understanding of the credit control process.
  • Credit control and/or financial qualifications are desirable.
  • Client focused with an appreciation of both internal and external client needs at all times
  • Exceptional levels of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Well organised with the ability to work to regular deadlines
  • Demonstrates a positive and efficient image with a friendly and approachable persona
  • Ability to work with tact, discretion and confidentiality
